The Hero Shooter Marvel Rivals Boldly Reveals its Latest Lady Loki Costume
You might label Marvel Rivals as an Overwatch clone, developer NetEase earns praise for finding innovative ways to engage its unabashedly thirsty fanbase. Introducing Lady Loki, a completely new outfit for the existing Strategist hero Loki, offering players a faithful to the comics depiction of the Asgardian trickster god(dess).
A Reskin of Loki, Not Hela
Despite some fan speculation, the previously teased Lady Loki costume is definitely not a skin for Hela. Instead, it is a full-on visual overhaul of Loki himself, complete with new voiceover work. Based on the reveal trailer, Lady Loki keeps all of Loki's signature powers: Mystical Missile, his trickery skill, and Doppelgänger. The sole difference is her new appearance, tailored to appeal to an audience more than ready to spend their Lattice.
Hearing and Seeing Lady Loki
Here is a glimpse at Lady Loki on the battlefield, accompanied by a sample of her VO, performed by voice actor Abby Trott. It's worth noting Trott also voices Magik in Marvel Rivals.
Her dialogue and onscreen presence bring a fresh dynamic to the well-known kit.
A Gateway to Future Skins
With NetEase has opened the door with this gender-bent skin for Loki, the Marvel Rivals community is busy speculating about similar swaps. Fan suggestions currently range from:
- Gwenpool as the forthcoming Deadpool.
- Jane Foster as Thor.
- Gwen Stacy as Spider-Woman.
The big question remains: Will NetEase have the guts to introduce less mainstream alternate versions, such as one-time Ms. Marvel Sharon Ventura as She-Thing? That will probably hinge on player requests!

The Lady Loki skin will be available in Marvel Rivals from January 1, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST until January 29, 2026, at 6 p.m. PST.
